The Norwegian National Barbecue Team (NN BBQ) is a team of barbecue fanatics, all of whom work daily with food. Some of us are chefs, others butchers, and some work with product development for grill and barbecue related products.

We have competed in the Memphis in May World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest each year since 2007 and we have won numerous awards in several categories. We have also competed in the Jack Daniel´s World Championship Invitational Barbecue.

• 2009 (2. place ”Beef”, 2. place ”Exotic” and 6. place ”Mustard Sauce”)
• 2010 (3. place ”People´s Choice”; 4. place ”Exotic”; 9. place ”Seafood”; 12. place ”Mustard Sauce”; 16. place ”Beef” og 17. place ”Vinegar Sauce”.
• 2011 (1. place ”People´s Choice”)
• 2012 (3. place “Exotic”; 6. place “Beef”; 8th place in the main category “Pork Shoulder” – right up there with the big boys!)
• 2013 (4. place “Beef”)
• 2014 (4. place “Mustard Sauce”)
• 2015 (3. place “Exotic”; 4. place “Tour of Champions”)
• 2016 (6. place “Tour of Champions”)
• 2017: 13th place in “Hot Wings” (best ever for us in “Wings”); also 16th in “Exotic” and 17th in “Poultry”
• 2019: 11^th place in “Turkey Smoke”; 14^th place in “Poultry”
• 2022: Back in Memphis. Tied for 1^st place in “Beef”
